Leather Furniture Repair

Leathersmith CT LLC does all different types of leather furniture repair.  Accidents happen at parties, from children, and even pets.  Furniture becomes damaged with staining from spilled food, body oil, sun fading, or just from wear over time.  We are a leather upholstery shop that specializes in repairs, custom upholstery and even partial re-upholstery.  Because we can custom color leather, we do what other upholstery shops cannot.

We offer:

Small Repair Work – Many times we can repair small damages to your leather furniture, stitching repairs, correction of staining, animal damages, nail polish spills, pen ink marks, and more.

Recoloring of Faded, Surface Cracked, or Worn Leather – If your leather furniture has color loss from sun fading or light wear from use we can refinish it to its original color, which gives a piece that fresh look and covers up many stains.

Partial Re-upholstery – When just one area on furniture is worn or damaged we can reupholster the worn or damaged area and color it to match the rest of the piece.  This is what we specialize in for body oil stains, pet damage, and seat cushion cracking. This can renew the look and save you money.

Full Re-upholstery – Antiques, family heirlooms, designer furniture, or just that special piece that you love. Each piece is carefully disassembled and the frame, springs, suspension, and foam is inspected and can be repaired if needed.  We then reassemble with top grain leather of your choice.  The end result is a stunning piece that will last for years to come.

Re-Stitching of Seams – There are times when the seams start to open on cushions or the attached cushions pull apart from the back of the frame on a seam (you can see the thread unravel).  We can sew those seams closed.
